G&L's Audio Video Processing Unit (AVPU)

G&L’s AVPU is a state-of-the-art, low-energy, high-density 19” rack server designed for high-quality live video processing in various environments. Emphasizing collaborative problem-solving with customers, G&L aims to create bespoke yet scalable solutions through modular components, embodying their philosophy in the AVPU. Its modular design offers flexible input, storage, and hardware acceleration options, supporting SRT, MPEG-TS, and SDI inputs, with plans for DVB-S, SMPTE 2110, and NDI.

The AVPU's software capabilities include graphical overlays, VOD to live, mixed live/VOD playlists, live to VOD, trimming and editing, and AI audio transcription and translation, all seamlessly integrating into enterprise environments with advanced security features.

By minimizing energy consumption to less than 190 watts per rack, the AVPU not only meets customer needs for low-energy costs but also aligns with G&L’s commitment to sustainability, representing an innovative leap in video processing technology.
