The presentation will be in German.
The energy technical solutions consume has been in the spotlight lately, not only because of the energy crisis caused by Russia's war against Ukraine, but also because of global warming and climate change. And as a result everyone is challenged to examine to what extent they are involved in generating emissions and what measures they can take to leave a smaller ecological footprint.
As with many other companies, other problems were more pressing at G&L for a long time. In the meantime, however, we have started to rethink our approach, as an expression of which we are striving for ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and have become a member of the industry association "Greening of Streaming". At the Hamburg Open, we will present measurement results and measures that focus on the topic of live streaming. Founder and Managing Director Alexander Leschinsky will address the topic of encoding in particular, but also provide insights into energy consumption during distribution and playback via the public internet.
